International fashion photographer, Beckie, found herself stranded back home in Brisbane, Australia when the Coronavirus pandemic struck. She decided to start creating eco-friendly, 'curvy candles' that could be made with local supplies so that no matter what was going on in the world, she could continue to work. With her husband and best friend now employed, the three of them work together 6 days a week to keep up with demand.

After a lot of trial and error to figure out the perfect shape and scents, Beckie now orders her wax by the tonne! Each candle is hand poured, scented and coloured individually, making each candle full of imperfections and unique.

This month, We Are Not Vibes has released a limited edition range of pink and purple curvy candles to raise money for the McGrath Foundation. The money raised goes towards funding McGrath Breast Care Nurses who provide invaluable support and care to women and men experiencing breast cancer. From diagnosis right throughout treatment, McGrath Breast Care Nurses are available to help individuals and their families for free and with no referral. For their August & September Limited Edition Collection, they raised over $1500 for Destiny Rescue & Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary Hospital

We Are Not Vibes uses plastic-free, eco friendly packaging using cardboard boxes and vintage book paper. They want everyone to see themselves in each candle so they are releasing different body shapes over the next few months.
