Oscar & Harley first started in 2015 when Lily Humphris was pregnant with her first born. She was forced to quit her job due to hyperemesis gravidarum and decided to put her creative skills to good use. With bad back pain and an allergy to wheat, Lily decided to create her own heat packs created with Australian lupins.
After gifting them to family and friends, demand grew and she opened a stall at the market in Kensington, SA. From there, small businesses and physiotherapy practises became interested in her hot and cold packs and the Oscar and Harley community grew dramatically.
Now, she spends almost everyday at the sewing machine, creating heat packs for everyone to love. When Lily isn't sewing, at the markets or spending time with her little ones, she loves her essential oils! Lily explains that these oils have changed her life and her children's who suffer from asthma, eczema and anxiety. Her other instagram @tribe.of.boys sheds a light on just how amazing these oils can be.
Lily is a completely self taught sewer and has actually been using the same pattern base for her heat packs for the last 5 years! She loves that her business allows her to work from home and watch her sons grow up. Sustainability is at the forefront of Lily's creation proccess and makes a conscious effort to reduce her waste and use reusable packaging.
