Natalie Terlikar is an amazing self taught macramé maker! After creating a beautiful macramé arch for her wedding in 2017, Nat decided to turn her talent into a prosperous small business, Knot & Gather.
Natalie uses cotton string to allow the work and detail that lovingly goes into each piece to be seen and appreciated, and likes to think of her style as delicate and feminine. All materials used are Australian organic cotton or rope and the rainbows that have been made exclusively for Maker, are made from Australian wool from small wool mills. Each order is sent in recycled cotton fabrics and twine with dried Australian natives and the product tags are all made from recycled cotton - how wonderful!
"I believe as business owners we should all take responsibility
of our land and our environment."
Alongside Natalie, her lovely wife Desirée is her biggest supporter! Together they used to run Betty's Bohemian Beach Cafe but made the decision to close up and follow their passions.
(Yes, I am still a little heartbroken as it was definitely my favourite place to
eat but I guess I'll forgive them)
